Fresh off their lavish wedding and honeymoon, newlyweds Russell Brand and Katy Perry hit the red carpet Sunday night at MTV's European Music Awards in Madrid.
Dressed in a sparkly red dress, the new Mrs. Brand posed with her hubby for photographers, before heading backstage to prepare for her performance. Still in awe of his wife, Brand reportedly told MTV staffers, "I'm not worthy," after a crew member praised Perry's good looks.
The couple, who met at the MTV Video Music Awards, when Brand hosted in 2009, tied the knot in India on Oct. 23.
"The relationship is very important to me," Brand said. "It means growing up. Love between two people is the most spectacular, but ordinary, thing in the world."
